Nova Scotians say NO to the NS provincial government de-listing Owls Head "Provincial Park": designated as a provincial park on NS gov't websites and maps: for 45 years on a Protected Areas list to officially be made a provincial park. Nova Scotians say NO to the provincial government intention to sell Owls Head to a developer. Owls Head belongs to the people of Nova Scotia.

Members of the Facebook Group Save Little Harbour/Owls Head From Corrupt Backroom Deal will be holding a rally to save Owls Head Provincial Park on February 20 2020 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm starting at Grand Parade and then marching to Province House to hear from speakers.

Opponents of the provincial government’s decision to sell Owls Head Provincial Park to a wealthy American investor to build 3 golf courses has launched a lawsuit at the end of January in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia in an effort to stop the sale. The applicants are the Eastern Shore Forest Watch Association (ESFWA) and Robert Bancroft.
