We’re arguing that the province owes the public a duty, to let the public know and to give opportunity for comment, when the province is considering lands with important values to them […] What we’re asking for is essentially an expectation on government, basically, to not do such things in secret—an expectation that if they’re considering decisions that will significantly affect the future of public lands that have public value, that they let the public know, that they not do these things in secret.
